1. Introduction

The Vehicle Repair System (Community) module equips your Odoo 14 setup with full workshop capabilities—ideal for servicing centers, garages, or auto repair shops. It lets you create branches, manage vehicle appointments, generate job cards and work orders, issue invoices based on parts and labor, and maintain service histories.

2. Key Features

  • Vehicle & Appointment Management
    Register branches and assign user access; manage vehicle attributes (make, model, engine type), customer vehicles, and service appointments.

  • Job Cards & Work Orders
    Create job cards from appointments with physical inspection (including images), generate work orders with parts selection (stock-integrated), and handle product returns.

  • Stock & Invoice Automation
    Automates stock movements between locations for used parts, and generates invoices that include parts and labor from completed work orders.

  • Service History & Rewards
    Captures repair history in vehicle records and supports configurable reward point systems redeemable during checkout for loyal customers.

5. Installation

  1. Purchase and download the module for Odoo 14.

  2. Ensure all required dependencies (listed above) are installed.

  3. In Odoo Backend:

    • Go to Apps → Update Apps List

    • Search for Vehicle Repair System

    • Click Install
