1. Introduction

The Transport Management and Delivery Routes module allows you to integrate comprehensive logistics capabilities into Odoo. Designed by Probuse Consulting Service, it enables the assignment and tracking of transporters, vehicles, and routes seamlessly within your existing sales and delivery workflow

2. Key Features

  • Transporter Master Data: Create transporter entries under res.partner to manage companies or individuals

  • Vehicle-Vendor Linkage: Assign vehicles to transporters, linking fleet assets to external partners

  • Route & Location Configuration: Define transport routes and set source/destination locations

  • Sales & Delivery Integration: Assign a transporter on sales orders; transport data flows automatically to delivery orders/pickings

  • Enhanced Delivery Order Fields: Add vehicle, parcels count, route info, and LR (LR = Lorry Receipt) numbers directly in delivery orders

  • Auto Transport Entries: When delivery orders are validated, the module generates a transport entry automatically

  • Document & Reporting Tools:

    • Display transport details in delivery slips and reports.

    • Supports rescheduling, halting, canceling, or completing transport entries.

    • UI includes dedicated “Transport Entry” menus and forms

5. Installation Instructions

  1. Confirm that required modules (fleet, stock, sale_management, mail, account) are installed.

  2. Navigate to Apps → Update Apps List in the Odoo backend.

  3. Search for Transport Management and Delivery Routes or use the technical name odoo_transport_management.

  4. Install the module and begin setting up transporters, vehicles, routes, and integrating with your delivery workflow.
