1. Introduction
The URL Transliterations for Website Pages module enables you to define language-specific URLs for static pages in your Odoo website. Accessible via the page form ("Site → This page → Properties"), this feature ensures URLs are user-friendly and tailored to each language.
2. Key Features
In-Page URL Customization: Add transliterations per language directly from the page's form view under the "URL Transliterations" tab.
SEO-Friendly & Language-Specific: Automatically serves custom URLs like /shoenes-haus for German and /mapage/olie-maison for French when languages change.
Fallback Mechanism: If no URL is set for a language, the default page address is used.
3. Benefits
Improved SEO Performance: URLs in native language enhance both user experience and search engine ranking.
Enhanced User Experience: Visitors see readable, relevant URLs in their preferred language.
Granular Control: Editors can define/display precise, language-specific paths for better brand perception and navigation.
4. Compatibility & Installation
Odoo Compatibility: Supported across Odoo versions 11 through 18, including Odoo 17.
Dependencies: Requires the standard Website (website) and Discuss (mail) modules.
License: Distributed under the Odoo Proprietary License v1.0 (OPL-1).
