Introduction

The User Pricelist Restriction module for Odoo offers a security and usability enhancement by allowing admins to map a specific pricelist to each sales user. Once configured, that user can only use the assigned pricelist when creating or editing a sale order—thus eliminating accidental or unauthorized pricelist changes. This feature is especially useful in multi-user sales teams, ensuring consistent pricing application and reducing pricing errors in day-to-day sales operations.

• Installation Steps:

  1. Ensure the Sales, Mail, and Accounting modules are installed.

  3. Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users, open a user record, and set the “Allowed Pricelists” field.

  4. Save and log in as that user. When creating a sale order, they will only see and be able to use their assigned pricelist(s).
